Custom 3D-Printed Puzzle Box

I designed and manufactured a fully original mechanical puzzle box as a personal gift for my girlfriend, combining creative design with precise engineering. While I researched existing puzzle concepts for reference, every mechanism, locking feature, and sliding component was independently developed from scratch. The assembly was modeled in Onshape, where I engineered tolerances and clearances to ensure perfect dimensional accuracy and smooth motion directly off the printer. The final design integrates multiple concealed mechanisms, interlocking layers, and magnetic features, all functioning seamlessly as a cohesive system. This project demonstrates my ability to translate a conceptual idea into a complex, functional design through careful modeling, testing, and mechanical precision.
